2007 Summer Bible study calls us to
Act Boldly for Mission

The three–session 2007 summer Bible study in the June andJune issue of LWT July/August issue of Lutheran Woman Today encourages us to "Act Boldly for Mission."  Author Kelly Fryer will energize Bible study participants with her vibrant writing and deep faith. This study explores how women can boldly take part in God's mission to love and bless and save the world.  To be the church, she says, is to participate in that mission by sharing the good news about Jesus Christ in word and deed.

In June, the study focuses on With the Message of Jesus and in July/August on Like the First Evangelist, and In the Power of the Holy Spirit.

We encourage you to invite several people for a one–day retreat as you explore the summer Bible study.  For more information on  the Bible study including the leader guide and One-Day retreat, download complimentary copies on us.  Let us know how you enjoyed the summer study and retreat by emailing us at lwt@elca.org
